Cookie Notice
How the Syntel website uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
Last updated September 28, 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how Syntel Technologies, Inc. (“Syntel,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on synteltechnologies.com (the “Site”). Please read it together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser. They let the website remember information about your visit, such as the cookie choices you have made. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in a comparable way, and this notice covers them too.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by other services, for example an embedded video player, are “third-party” cookies. Session cookies expire when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
How we use cookies
We group cookies into four categories. Necessary cookies are always on. We only use the other categories if you consent to them.
- Necessary: required for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences: remember choices you make, such as your language or region.
- Statistics: help us understand how visitors use the Site, so that we can improve it.
- Marketing: help us measure our campaigns and show you relevant Syntel content on other websites and platforms.
When you first visit the Site, a banner asks for your choices. Until you make them, we only use necessary cookies. Our consent tool, Cookiebot, stores your choices in a necessary cookie so that we do not ask again on every visit.
Analytics without cookies
To understand how the Site is used and to keep it fast, we use privacy-friendly analytics and performance monitoring provided by our hosting provider. These tools do not place cookies or store your IP address, and count visitors with an anonymized identifier that is discarded within 24 hours. Our Privacy Policy describes the information they collect.
Embedded content
Some articles on the Site may include videos or posts embedded from other services, such as YouTube or LinkedIn. These services may set their own cookies, which are governed by their own cookie and privacy policies.
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page, or by using the link in the cookie list below. A change takes full effect the next time a page loads.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not work as intended, and we will ask for your cookie choices again on your next visit.
If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please email contact@synteltechnologies.com.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Cookie Notice when we change the cookies we use. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
Cookies we use
The list below is generated by Cookiebot, which scans the Site and records each cookie, its purpose and how long it lasts. If the list does not appear, your browser may be blocking it, and you can ask us for a copy at contact@synteltechnologies.com.
