Last updated September 28, 2026

Syntel Technologies, Inc. (“Syntel” or the “Company”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions when using our Service.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Site” refers to the Company’s website, which can be accessed at synteltechnologies.com.

“Service” refers to the Company’s services accessed via the Site, in which users can learn about Syntel’s enterprise AI software products, AI models and professional services, covering process discovery and redesign, AI infrastructure and deployment, enterprise data and knowledge, model customization, AI agents and business applications, AI testing and assurance, and AI operations; read our articles; and contact us to request a product demo, discuss a project or use case, or arrange a technical review.

This Privacy Policy covers the Site and the inquiries you make through it. It does not cover information we process on behalf of our customers when we deliver products or engagements to them, which is governed by our agreements with those customers.

The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company. “You” refers to you, as a user of our Site or our Service.

By accessing our Site or our Service, you accept our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, referring and exit pages and URLs, browser and platform types, device types, approximate country and the pages you view. Personal Information includes your full name, email address, organization and the contents of your message, which you submit to us through the contact form on the Site or by email.

Information collected via technology

You can browse the Site without submitting any Personal Information. You only need to submit Personal Information if you choose to contact us, as described below. However, in an effort to improve the quality of the Service, we track information provided to us by your browser when you view or use the Site, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the Site, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you.

We collect this information using privacy-friendly analytics and performance monitoring provided by our hosting provider. These tools do not use cookies and do not store your IP address. Visitors are counted using an anonymized identifier that is discarded within 24 hours. For example, the Company collects the following information:

  • The pages you visit on the Site and the date and time of each visit
  • The referring URL that brought you to the Site
  • Your browser, operating system and device type
  • Your approximate country, derived from your IP address, which is not stored
  • Page loading and performance measurements, used to keep the Site fast and reliable

We use a consent tool, Cookiebot, to ask for and record your cookie choices, and we only place cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as marketing cookies, if you consent to them. The Company may use both persistent and session cookies; persistent cookies remain on your device after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies expire when you close your browser. Our Cookie Notice lists the cookies we use and explains how to change your choices at any time.

Like most websites, our hosting provider also processes technical information, including your IP address, in server logs so that it can deliver the Site and protect it against misuse. We also use your IP address briefly to limit repeated submissions of the contact form. It is not stored with your inquiry.

Information you provide through our contact form

In addition to the information provided automatically by your browser when you visit the Site, you may choose to contact us through the contact form on the Site. When you do, we ask for:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your organization
  • How we can help, for example a product demo, a model inquiry, a project or use case, or a technical review
  • Any product, model, solution or industry you select as your interest
  • Your message describing your task or goal

We also record which page or link you used to open the form, for example a product demo button, so that we can route your inquiry to the right team. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and any information you include in your email.

By submitting the form or emailing us, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Please do not include passwords, credentials or sensitive records in your message.

Children’s privacy

The Site and the Service are intended for business users and are not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have gathered personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information as soon as possible. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at contact@synteltechnologies.com.

How we use and share information

Personal Information

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes your Personal Information with third parties without your consent. We do share Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the Company, such as our website hosting provider, the consent service that records your cookie choices, the email delivery service that forwards contact form inquiries to our team, and the business tools we use to manage inquiries. Those vendors use your Personal Information only at our direction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you. For example, we use Personal Information to respond to your inquiry, arrange a demo, meeting or technical review you request, follow up on a potential engagement, solicit feedback from users, and, where you have agreed or the law otherwise permits, tell you about Syntel products, services and events that may be relevant to your organization. Where it helps with your inquiry, and only with your agreement, we may introduce you to a technology or delivery partner who would contribute to a proposed engagement.

We may share Personal Information with outside parties if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to meet any applicable legal process or enforceable governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations; address fraud, security or technical concerns; or to protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public as required or permitted by law.

Non-Personal Information

In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Service and customize the user experience. We also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the Site. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners and other third parties at our discretion.

Business transfers

In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of our assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy. If our information practices change at any time in the future, we will post the policy changes to the Site so that you may opt out of the new information practices. We suggest that you check the Site periodically if you are concerned about how your information is used.

How we protect information

We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. We protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing technological security measures including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls that limit inquiry information to the people who need it, and abuse protection on our contact form. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by a breach of such measures. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

We keep Personal Information only for as long as we need it to respond to your inquiry, manage our relationship with you and meet our legal obligations. After that, we delete it or anonymize it.

Your rights regarding the use of your Personal Information

You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes. When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional email. You can also indicate that you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us by emailing contact@synteltechnologies.com. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or emailing us, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, replies to an inquiry you have made and periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.

You may also ask us for a copy of the Personal Information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing contact@synteltechnologies.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

As part of the Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Service. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a third party website accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Service. To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, then the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application. We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

The Company reserves the right to change this policy and our Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by placing a prominent notice on the Site and, where we hold your email address and the change affects how we use it, by sending a notice to that address. Significant changes will go into effect 30 days following such notification. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately. You should periodically check the Site and this privacy page for updates.
