Terms of Use

The terms under which Syntel Technologies, Inc. makes this website available, and that apply when you access or use it.

Last updated September 28, 2026

These Terms of Use, along with all other agreements, disclaimers and disclosures displayed on the Syntel website (the “Terms”), state the terms and conditions under which you may use the website located at synteltechnologies.com (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site in any way, including using the articles, product and service descriptions, videos, images and other materials made available via the Site (the “Site Materials”), submitting the contact form and/or browsing the Site, you agree to follow and be bound by these Terms.

These Terms govern (1) the information made available via the Site; (2) the nature of the relationship between you and Syntel Technologies, Inc. (“Syntel,” “we,” “us” or “our”); and (3) your use of the Site and the Site Materials. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Site.

Syntel may change these Terms in its sole discretion at any time. When changes are made, we will make a new copy of the Terms available on the Site and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. You should check these Terms, available through a link on every page of the Site, each time you use the Site to determine if any changes have been made. If you use the Site after the amended Terms have been posted, you will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you use the Site.

Information only, not professional advice

The Site provides general information about Syntel and our enterprise AI software products, AI models and professional services. The Site Materials are not intended to constitute technical, legal, regulatory, financial or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for an assessment of your own systems, data and requirements. Any opinions expressed in articles on the Site are the opinions of the particular author and may not reflect the opinions of Syntel.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Site Materials may not reflect recent developments, may not be complete, and may not be accurate for, or applicable to, your organization or jurisdiction. Descriptions of products, models, capabilities, examples and use cases are illustrative. Availability, supported scope and results depend on each engagement and are confirmed only in a written agreement. Results described on the Site do not guarantee a similar outcome, because each organization’s facts and circumstances are different. You should not act or refrain from acting based on the Site Materials alone.

No customer relationship or offer

Syntel provides products and services to customers only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Your access to and use of the Site, your submission of the contact form, and your emails to addresses on the Site do not create a customer, contractual, partnership or advisory relationship between Syntel and you or your organization, and nothing on the Site is an offer to supply products or services. Where you or your organization enter into a written agreement with Syntel, that agreement governs the products and services it covers and prevails over these Terms.

Communications you send us

Please do not send us confidential information, credentials or sensitive records through the contact form or by email unless we have agreed in writing to receive them, for example under a confidentiality agreement. Unless such an agreement is in place, communications you send to Syntel will not be treated as confidential. We handle any personal information they contain as described in our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that email and the internet are generally insecure means of communication, and Syntel cannot guarantee the confidentiality or security of any email sent to Syntel or any information submitted through the Site.

Ownership and license

You acknowledge that the Site and the Site Materials are protected by copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents or other proprietary rights, and that these worldwide rights are valid and protected in all forms, media and technologies now existing or hereafter developed. The Syntel name and logo and the names of our products and models are trademarks of Syntel. You agree to comply with all intellectual property laws and you shall not encumber any interest in, or assert any rights to, the Site.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to access and use the Site and to electronically copy and print portions of the Site Materials for your informational, internal and non-commercial use only, provided that you keep any copyright and trademark notices intact and do not modify the Site Materials. Such license is subject to these Terms and does not include:

  • Any resale or commercial use of the Site or the Site Materials
  • The distribution, public performance or public display of all or any portion of the Site
  • Modifying or otherwise making any derivative uses of the Site
  • The use of any data mining, robots or similar data gathering or extraction methods
  • Downloading (other than page caching) any portion of the Site, except as expressly permitted on the Site
  • Making any portion of the Site available through any timesharing system, service bureau, the internet or any other technology now existing or developed in the future
  • Using any automatic or manual process to harvest information from the Site
  • Using the Site Materials, directly or indirectly, to create, train, develop or improve any machine learning model, large language model or other artificial intelligence system or service
  • Any use of the Site for other than its intended purpose

Unless expressly stated in these Terms, nothing in these Terms shall be construed as conferring any license to intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise. Syntel does not grant you any rights in its trademarks. This license is revocable at any time and terminates automatically without notice if you breach any of these Terms. Any unauthorized use of the Site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, laws of privacy and publicity, data protection laws and communications regulations and statutes.

Linking and framing

You may link to any public page of the Site, provided you do so in a way that is fair and lawful and does not suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement by Syntel where none exists. You may not frame any part of the Site within any other website without our prior written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, YOUR USE OF THE SITE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK, AND THE SITE AND THE SITE MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS. SYNTEL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “SYNTEL PARTIES”) EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, REPRESENTATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATED TO THE SITE AND THE SITE MATERIALS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED TERMS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

This section does not limit any warranty Syntel gives in a signed written agreement for products or services.

Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY OF THE SYNTEL PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOSS OF USE, DATA OR PROFITS, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SITE, WHETHER OR NOT SYNTEL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE AGGREGATE CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OF THE SYNTEL PARTIES IN CONNECTION WITH ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 (USD), AND THAT AMOUNT SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER REMEDIES WHICH YOU MAY HAVE AGAINST THE SYNTEL PARTIES.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Where Your Content contains your personal information, Syntel will collect, use and disclose it in compliance with applicable data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. We may create aggregated, de-identified or anonymized data from the information we collect, including information about how the Site is used, and use it for our lawful business purposes, such as analyzing and improving the Site. We will not attempt to re-identify any such data.
